LBZ Technologies Private Limited ("Company", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals who access or use our services. This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use, process, disclose, store, and protect your personal data when you use our platform that connects pet parents with verified pet service providers such as veterinarians, groomers, radiology technicians, and others offering doorstep or digital services.
This policy applies to all users of our websites, mobile applications (including the Zumigo app), and any services offered by LBZ Technologies Private Limited ("Platform"), including pet parents, service professionals, partner vendors, and business associates. By accessing or using our Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Privacy Policy and explicitly consent to our collection, usage, and disclosure of your personal data as described herein and in accordance with applicable Indian privacy laws.
We collect various types of data directly from you when you register, communicate with us, book services through the Platform, or interact with our offerings. This includes your full name, contact information (email address, phone number, and residential address), pet details (such as your pet's name, breed, age, and health history), user preferences, payment method details (processed through third-party payment gateways in compliance with RBI guidelines), and limited identity documentation if required to verify identity under KYC norms.
In addition to data you submit, we may automatically collect technical and transactional information during your visits, such as device identifiers, browser type, IP address, app usage logs, chat interactions, geolocation data (particularly relevant for doorstep services), and analytics identifiers. Furthermore, we may receive information about you from third-party sources such as professional registration boards, payment networks, public databases, or integrated third-party platforms when you sign in or transact through them.
The collection and processing of your personal data are carried out under lawful bases provided under Indian law. These include your explicit consent, the need to perform our contractual obligations to you, compliance with legal requirements, and our legitimate interest in enhancing platform integrity, fraud prevention, user safety, and service improvement.
We process your data exclusively for purposes that are relevant to our service and clearly communicated to you. These include verifying your identity or credentials, fulfilling your bookings and service requests, matching you with appropriate pet service providers, communicating service progress or follow-ups, offering tailored recommendations, responding to inquiries and grievances, processing payments and invoices, ensuring service quality and user safety, and complying with legal obligations. We may also use your data to provide marketing or promotional information.
We retain your personal data only for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, and no longer than required under applicable Indian laws. This includes purposes such as account servicing, dispute resolution, compliance with statutory obligations including tax laws, and for audit or fraud prevention requirements.
We may share your personal data with trusted third parties and service processors who help us fulfill our commitments to you. These include verified pet service providers responsible for carrying out services booked by you; payment processors; logistic or support partners engaged in service fulfillment; and data processors who help operate, debug, audit, and manage our app or systems. In doing so, we ensure that such third parties are subject to confidentiality obligations and data processing agreements that require compliance with applicable Indian laws.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to any third party. We may disclose your personal data to lawful authorities when required by a legal obligation such as in response to court orders, or law enforcement requests. In addition, if there is any reorganization, business acquisition, asset transfer, or merger of our business operations, we may share your data subject to proper legal agreements.
Your data may be stored or processed in India or outside India. When we transfer your personal data to jurisdictions outside India, we ensure that such transfers are done in line with the safeguards required under the relevant Indian laws. However, when your data is processed in jurisdictions outside India, it may be subject to local laws and accessed by courts, law enforcement, or national security authorities of that jurisdiction. By using our Platform, you consent to such international transfers of data.

By availing services through the Zumigo platform (app and website), all users, including but not limited to pet parents and service providers (hereinafter referred to as 'Parties'), expressly acknowledge and agree that any data or metadata generated as a result of such transactions shall constitute proprietary information and intellectual property (IP) of LBZ Technologies Private Limited. This includes and is not limited to insights, analytics, and derivative data, which may be utilized by Zumigo for the improvement of its products, service offerings, operational efficiency, and commercial strategy, as permitted under applicable laws. For the avoidance of doubt, such usage shall not include the sale, leasing, or unauthorized sharing of personally identifiable information (PII) of any Party. All usage of data shall remain in compliance with applicable Indian laws.
As a user of our Platform, you are entitled to exercise your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable Indian laws. These rights include the right to obtain a summary of your personal data processed by us, the right to correct and update inaccurate or outdated information, the right to request erasure of personal data where it is no longer necessary, and the right to file a grievance if you believe your data has been misused or mishandled. You are also entitled to nominate another individual in the event of your inability or death to exercise these rights on your behalf.
Our Platform is intended for and offered only to individuals who are above the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If it is brought to our attention that we have collected personal data from or about a minor, we shall promptly take steps to delete such data.
We work only with verified or vetted service providers, vendors, and partners, and take reasonable steps to ensure they comply with applicable data protection laws. However, if a user independently engages with, or discloses personal data to, an unaffiliated or unverified third party without our knowledge or outside of our Platform, we disclaim responsibility for any resulting misuse or unauthorized processing of data by such third parties.
By registering an account, accessing our Platform, transacting for services, or otherwise interacting with us, you provide explicit and informed consent for processing your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable Indian data protection laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to accommodate changes in legal requirements, business practices, or technology. This Privacy Policy shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of India. Any dispute arising under or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Ahmedabad only. No other courts in any other location will have any jurisdiction whatsoever.
